The rum has notes of smoke, oak, vanilla, spice, and rubber. It's a little dry for a rum, in my opinion, it also feels a little harsh to me.

This rum compared to others in the same price range has a too strong caramelised coffee taste, also in after taste,

Chuť dobrá, mírně ostřejší. Láhev bych toho asi vypít nechtěl. Na zkušenou dobrá věc. Ale - vlastně tomu spíš nerozumím.

I gave "100 months coffe" 7 so I must give this one 6 as I would prefere coffe on one hand as liquer and 20yo as rum on the other hand. Its not that bad, but its not good as well. I would recomend you going for one of the other two common rums from this company.

Smell: wood, coffe, alcohol, a bit of fruit

Taste: Sharp, alcoholic, with notes of wood and coffe. Nothing extraordinery

Dominant tastes: coffee, honey, smoke, little oak, vanilla. For me not a special rum, but not bad.

Typischer Dictador Geschmack und Geruch aleerdings noch nicht ganz so mild wie seine Grossen Brüder.

At first impact it’s quite strong in your mouth, nothing I’ve experienced before which makes me curious about the 20-year variant of this rum. You can definitely taste the coffee/chocolatey notes which are quite pleasant.

There are some additives in it I think. But not more sugar. A good first choice, when you are stepping out of the realm of fake sweetened rums.

Interesting on the nose - pepper, leather, coffee, tobacco.

Taste is more on the dry side, with subtle sweetness and hint of spices, all dominated by "nutty coffee" flavor.

Worth trying I suppose, decent enough.
