Dictador Solera Ultra Premium Reserve 12-Year

I tried Dictador 12 before 20 and I really love it. Beautiful taste, wonderful aroma and good price. Very good balance

Nice butterscotch scent, sweet and mellow on the tongue, with no alcohol burn at all. This stuff could be dangerous! Goes down so smooth, the bottle might drain quickly if you don't pay attention!

Like syrup, it is a worthy investment, I can hope you try it.

Smooth, complex, and with lots of flavor. My wife does not drink rum but I make her taste everything and she thought this was one of the best I've brought home. So there you have it, high marks even from a self described rum hater!

I can definitely see me purchasing this again in the future.

This very smooth rum is well-balanced. Not too sweet, one might even say a bit dry.
A lovely oak smokiness with honey, spices, coffee and some dry fruit.
Has a nice finish and aftertaste.
I personally recommend this as one of the starter rums and have noted that so far the Dictador 12 has pleased all whisky drinkers that I know. Combine this with the fact that this rum comes in one of the best looking bottles and I would categorize this rum as an ideal gift!

Eine willkommene Abwechslung zu den vielen sehr süßen Rums. Ein klassischer und doch ganz besonderer Rum.

zuerst scharf dann Wallnuss im Abgang, leicht caramelig. Nicht so süß.

This rum is surprising. The bottle hides the colour. The name is not inviting. It has a little of everything. A bit sweet, a bit vanilla, a bit caramel, a bit woody. Smooth enough. I don't know the price but I recommend it straight on the rocks or with Sprite.

Za svou cenu zcela přijatelný. Voňavý, ale od poloviny lahve trochu lihovitý, středně sladký rum, který se od jiných podobných odlišuje zejména výraznou kávovou složkou, aniž by potlačil ostatní obvyklé rumové aspekty.
Příjemná pogumovaná láhev navzdory údajně staršímu japonskému návrhu tvarově evokuje Piráty z Karibiku, takže by se Dictador dojista dobře lokal i rovnou z flašky, kdyby se někdo k tak neuctivému činu snížil.

Nice taste, not so good As a 20Y but Is mild taste. Empty glass is completely perfect.
