Bcp d'épices, vanille chocolat... Boisé. Un régal.
One of my wife favorite even if its a little bit too dry...
Un grand rhum de Martinique
Very aromatic :smooth spice, chocolate , vanilla and light oak . In spite of its age , very powerful !
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This one is much alike the Clement XO. Smooth, nice and subtile with rich flavours and only overruled by Clement XO.
It starts to get quite hard to get it in the old bottle with its wooden etui (have 3). Instead there is a more common bottle with a blue label. I have tried to get an answer from Depaz if it’s the same rhum, but no answer yet.

September 2019;
It seems like the two different bottles of Grande Reserve XO are two different Agricoles. The one in the image bottle (same as the one I’ve reviewed) should after what I’ve read contain distillates that’s at least 12yo and the one with the blue label is a blend of distillates that’s between 8 and 10yo.
So some of the reviews here doesn’t review the bottle at the image.
