Cruzan Gold

This was my first rum. I got it to put in eggnog (not a great decision, actually). It works fine in cocktails, but doesn't stand out like Myer's dark rum.

Reasonable taste, nothing to write home about....I’d gage this to a typical Bacardi

This was my go to rum for the last few years and I loved it but the last 2 bottles have had a very off odor and flavour. Both times I had a bad stomach reaction a couple hours after drinking very modest amounts. I also noticed the bottles will condensate on the inside of the neck when left in the cabinet. Very odd and sad that I have to find a new "utility" rum.

Not great but not horrible. Decent for mixing. I prefer spiced myself.

Similar to the light version with a slightly woody flavor. Good for cocktails. I use it when cocktails call for "Puerto Rican" or "Virgin Islands" rum.

Bar rum cocktail mixer, won’t give you a hangover but not going to be a memorable drinking evening unless you are enjoying good times with friends and the liquor doesn’t matter.

For the cheap price this is a quality rum. Great In tropical drinks like painkillers.

This mellow yellow is smooth. Not high in flavour but a good mixing rum that beats bacardi.

Had this many times over the years, maybe not a great straight sipper, but always works well in cocktails! And you CAN sip it, it’s decent no matter what you use it for.
