Nothing unusual, just decent spiced rum. If you like cruzan, you're good to go.
A good value. Worked great with cola and ice and a couple of friends on the dock.
I love the rich smell. The complex flavors are indeed present. I'm happy to sip on this straight or with ice.
A very good rum for the price. I was told this is the rum that is sold under the Kirkland label at Costco. Don't know if that is true but they do taste very similar and both are very good.
I wouldn't drink it straight, it's decent as a mixer. I would choose Morgan's Black over this.
I love the branding behind this rum, putting the spices on the forefront. Though I have to say I'm not a big fan of spice blend. Fake vanilla and mace are on the front of the pallet, kind of off putting. It's right on the edge of something I wouldn't drink again.
This was the third spiced rum that I tried today and easily the worst. There is a saying when it comes to cooking that it is what you DON'T put into the pot that makes the dish great. Too much of anything placed into one pot is a recipe for disaster. This spiced rum has 9 spices, but I cannot distinguish a single one of them. All of them being combined winds up tasting like medicine. I will start my rating with a generous 5, but I am sure that this will gradually be lowered as the bottle is emptied very slowly. What else can one expect for only $10.
This is a small step up from your typical large-batch production spiced rums. A bit more vanilla, but pretty smooth for a full 80 proof (40% ABV). Poured neat, you can smell the vanilla and baking spices with a hint of cream and citrus. The first sip is surprisingly smooth, and sweet, but not too sweet. A short finish leaves behind a hint of clove and licorice. This mixes well with a rum & coke, and would also go well in a pina colada, but would get lost in a stronger cocktail.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Found this at a local national liquor store here in s.w. florida. A 1.75 was on sale for $17.70! being it was on my wish list I gave it a try. I was not at all disappointed, I was very happy for the price! The flavor is outstanding, I like the "sweet" taste I feel this rum has. I tried my normal Neat tasting and although a bit stronger than I would normally like straight, it has a good smooth flavor and can be drank neat. I did my normal on the rocks, in a tall glass ( which at my house is a huge tervis!) with Coke. I love the bottle and the flavors which I am having a hard time figuring how to explain in my amateur tongue. I think it has a good amount of vanilla, as most sweet spiced rums have. I feel it also has some citrus flavor as well. Anyhow, for the price you will not ever be disappointed.
