Trinidad and Tobago | Aged | 40% ABV
Angostura 1919 rum is produced in Trinidad by blending a combination of light and heavy molasses distilled rums. These rums spend at least 8 years aging in American oak bourbon barrels.
The name Angostura "1919" refers to the event in 1932 when Angostura's distillery was destroyed by fire. Miraculously, a handful of barrels filled with rum from 1919 survived and were purchased by J.B. Fernandes - the master blender of Fernandes Distillers.

One of the first rums I tasted and it’s still pleasing me. Today I think there is too much taste of arrack. If I want arrack I buy arrack. I will taste together with pea soup and see how it feels. Anyway it’s nice to have it in the rombar together with the other Angosturas when it’s in the old bottle.

Lite för anonym för min smak ingen riktig upplevelse måste jag säga, å den står där i Romskåpet å samlar damm. Men kanske i framtiden att jag provar av den igen.
A perfectly ok, lighter rum for drinking straight, but for the price there are many better options.
helt fin rom, men den mangler noget kompleksitet, og er lidt for kedelig.
Fairly dry, slightly spicy rum with hints of smoke. Just about ok for sipping
Très parfumé, Arôme de vanille!
Bonne longueur
A bcp perdu au file des dégustation
Ce rhum est une belle alternative aux autre diplomatico ou don papa dans les entrées de gamme. Plus sec et moins sucré.
Pour les fans de rhum faciles.

There is a little “oak and smoke” and a very small scent of fruit.
"The rum is very smooth with notes of oak, cocoa and vanilla. Perhaps a little banana but very subtle."

Cocos, cacao & vanilla flavor. Good rum but the alcohol and the flavors are a littlebit out of balance.
