A blend of several Caribbean rums about 4 years old apparently that taste very nicely together. I was not expecting a lot from a dark rum that comes in 1 ltr bottles , thats as cheap as chips and has a screw top ! . Well appearances can be deceiving as we all know.. At only 37% its very easy to drink , in fact its the only dark rum i can drink neat. Lots of molasses and spices , very dark and rich , i highly recommend you try it if you get to visit these shores one day.
Im sure this used to be blended by Lambs in Scotland a while back , its now owned by Lion Nathan Breweries over here.... ?

This rum is what it is. A dark rum. Easy start. Smooth finish. Great sipper. I dont recommend it as a mixer. But thats just me. I like this rum and will buy it again.

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Dark. Strong. Very good with ginger ale. In NZ you buy it as a pre-mix rum and coke in a can. Damn fine too.
