Domaine De Bellevue Blanc is produced by Habitation Bellevue in Marie-Galante.
This distillery still harvest their cane by hand and transport it in ox-drawn wagons. The estate also uses its own windmill that dates from 1821, the year that named several of their aged rums.
After a quite long fermentation it’s distilled in a stainless steel and copper Creole column.
The aromas is earthy, vegetal and floral with notes of lemon and pepper and a certain dry- and sweetness.
In mouth, on the palate and during the quite long finish it’s mostly sweet and peppery.
Overall a very pleasant, soft and fresh Agricole Blanc that’s very tasty neat, but unfortunately too weak in a Ti Punch so therefore just a 7.
Picture: My opened bottle and glasses poured just neat and as Ti Punch.

But fine for a ti punch base. Better go for Bielle if you look for characterful guadeloupean white agricole.

Package : moyen
