It is really a good one. The 8 years may mislead. Donโ€™t hesitate

Very nice on the nose with hints of vanilla. It is an excellent transition spirit for those that traditionally prefer whiskey. The Parce 8 year, aged in whiskey barrels, has a nice character to it that reminds you of sipping a good drink, straight up or on the rocks, in the company of good friends and family. Highly recommended. Love the bottle design as well.

Smooth nose with fair amount of vanilla. Opens up after at least 20min. Round mouth, a bit sweet with candied fruits and hints of bourbon. Pricy I find, and I bought in Colombia where it is produced.

Absolutely solid rum where you can taste the sugar cane. Would definitely recommend as a cheaper alternative to the 12 yr.

Happened across it and found it to be one of the best valued rums!

At first I enjoyed the 12 year more but the more I sipped this one, the more caramel came through. Lots of wood to start then it transitions into wood and sweet caramel

Really hard to put my finger on it but something is missing and it is just one of those rums where it is hard to say exactly what it is. I enjoy a dry rum and this is. I enjoy a semi sweet rum and this is. But it just seems too thin and lacking character and certainly anything distinctive. Bottle though is absolutely fantastic.

in every way the little brother of the 12 year, in that the banana coconut nose is there (but not as distinctly) and the subtle coffee/cinnamon on the finish is there (but barely), but so is that plastic note (now more so). It's good, but at $40+ it needs a bit more. Get the 12.

Nice gold bottle with gold rum with rounded taste and long finish.

Fruity and spiced to the taste. Hints of tobacco and cocoa, smooth aftertaste

Tried it in a rum tasting and I found it better, more balanced than the 12-yo Parce. If I have to choose between the two, I would go with this. It also works perfectly in cocktails.
