At first I enjoyed the 12 year more but the more I sipped this one, the more caramel came through. Lots of wood to start then it transitions into wood and sweet caramel

This is a nice and smooth rum. Not overly present flavors, but everything is in it. I like that!

Me regalaron una botella de Parce 8. Definitivamente no es para tomar puro pero va muy bien con un poco de coca cola. Ron con mucho cuerpo, sabor fuerte pero sin predominar el alcohol.

Nice gold bottle with gold rum with rounded taste and long finish.

Nice combo of light sweetness with an interesting smoky vanilla note from the Jack Daniel's barrels it is aged in. Not the sweet and molasses notes as many aged rums. Smooth finish with cola notes.

There is some dark flavors, slightly sweet with a richness like chocolate.

Good and somewhat sweet, with relatively strong taste of oak/cigar like flavors. Alcohol strong to the nose, a bit less in mouth. Original.

It's smell pretty harsh, but it has a very light burn to it. It is rather smooth, and has that whiskey taste to it

Compared to it's semi-dry 12 Year Old brother that I rated as an 8, this one ranks in my lower 7's. It is bone dry and the bourbon notes are allowed to come through, but without being downright irritating. This one ran me $40 US, but it's 12 Year Old brother costs another $26, but is still the better buy. Both gift boxes have the same crazy art work on them.

Good rum with hints of dry tobacco, mild cigar, leather, and a touch of dark fruits. Zero sweetness and goes well neat alongside of a pipe. I liked this rum more than the 12 year. Man's rum for sure.
