the bottle is almost empty, can t find it in my place (bought it last day in Guadeloupe, in a specialized shop, distillery didnt have it), really good, dry but smooth,
taste tropical ripe fruits, it s a rum but you feel that is aged in cognac
barrels (just a little bit of liquorice)
it s not exactly 8 years but 70% 8 years, 20% 9 years, 10% 10 years, i rated this 9 but after trying so many rums, i will raise it to a 10 !
No sugar here, very dry, aged in oak barrel. Strong barrel taste , True agricol that’s it no fluff
This is a great Rhum. It’s a blend of some of the best vintages from the Longueteau house. The blend consists of 70% 8yo, 20% 9yo and 10% 10yo. It’s aged in ex cognac oak barrels.
In nose the fruitiness dominates. It’s very subtle but a little weak.
In mouth and during the afterburn, which is quite long, you can recognize lots of different fruits, spices, some vanilla, some oak and hints of licorice.
It’s definitely one of the best Agricoles that I have tasted, but the weak nose makes me stop at a nine.

Dette er en af de rigtig gode Agricole rhum i min samling, Som vel reelt kun overses af deres 120 Ans
Excellent rhum avec des notes de vanille et une belle longueur en bouche
Juste super bon. Un peu cher mais j ai adoré. Belle couleur et nez excellent.
Opened a bottle of Longueteau XO today for the first time. This Agricole rum comes in an elegant bottle and the packaging leads me to believe this will be an excellent dry rum. The nose is addicting, smells lightly sweet (no additives here) with so many flavours. The palate does not disappoint. This is definitely my favourite agricole rum. Glad I initially purchased 2 bottles… would rate this 9.5 out of 10.
This is a very nice and well crafted rum, but for my taste, a little expensive considering whats on offer. The nose is very inviting with oak, cinnamon, acidic pears and a little black pepper. In the mouth I pick up a predominantly oaky character warpped in tobacco leaf’s and some subtle vegetal sugarcane sweetness. It’s a little spicy on the finish. It’s enjoyable, but given the price, I feel there’s a little bit missing.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
