Let's try a good rum from the Appleton Estate distillery. 12 years old. Rare Blend: from whatever. This is not explained.
Alcohol: 43%
Nose: very fruity, banana, very typical esther notes, some honey. All in all pleasant
Palate: Eggnog ice cream, plum, pear, banana, orange peel, some wood
Finish: medium, the fruit notes fade away quickly, some wood remains. Hmm, I actually expected a little more
Conclusion: a really good rum to drink neat with interesting fruity impressions and a decent price-performance ratio
Nice stuff with real pure taste without added sugar. Big differens between this and other sugeradded rums. Nose: bunch of raisins and other tropical fruits. Palate: a bit sharp in a good whiskey way, raisins and banan with arrak. Thumbs up!
Takes time as got a kick to it not the smoothest 12 I've had Something bugs me every time I drink this I don't rush back to the bottle So I may not be buying another !
Paid £28 seems to of crept up £32 +
43 % ABV the Label says nothing added
I own a bottle and only rate what I have bought
This one is a funky skank! Good think smelly rum with some dank skank flavors! Heyoo!
Nice rum sips well but personally rather it as a fine mixer rum for good quality cocktails ! Comes in a fine presentation box I use mine as a coin pot :)
A really nice find as it is rich and complex and well balanced. Glorious colour too.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This is something different than what I usually drink. Im more into the spanish type of rum but this one really had me open my eyes to jamaican rum and the english style. But the screw cork is a big minus!
