I am just missing any sweetness in this quite expensive rum. Strong in the nose and mouth... fruity and almost some flowers in the end. Interesting, but missing some sugar for a joy. I wouldn't buy it again.

(I love Opthimus/Centenario/QRM)

Brillant in color, give good taste, not strong in mouth. Very good

Nice complex aroma with little noticeable alcohol, fumes. Very smooth & balanced for a 44% abv. Rhum Agricole. Good long finish with some oaky dryness and a hint of sweetness.

As usual with Rhum Agricole if you like the sweeter (with added sugar) kind of rum than this is not for you but those that like whisky and brandy will go nuts over this.

At the moment I have a rum tasting and after a few good rums this one is not bad, but not a rum taste beverage. This is more like a whisky. No more clement xo for me.

Tried it two times now. To me it's whisky, and sadly, not a nice one either . Totally no sweetness only bitterness. And that for around a hundred bucks??The first, and last Agricole-rum for me!

It's literally identical to the vsop in taste except more dry and peppery. Not a great sipper. Very harsh with strong dryness sensation. The dryness is fine paired alone but with the harshness it's like having your tongue dried and burned. I could see this drank with rocks. But honestly just get the vsop. You're literally paying triple the price just for a little extra dry flavour. I could say it has flavors of this and that but you're better off just buying the vsop and imagining it dried out and that's it. Still an extremely good Agricole but it's not on the rum end of things, more like a Cognac/bourbon. I am all about the dollar per value so I suggest to sip some Woodford reserve bourbon. You won't tell the difference besides the 80$ you saved.

if you haven´t checked agricole rhum til now, this is a good try. one of the softer agricoles, this is a good idea to start with, although not a cheap one. Over all it tastes very smooth and elegant, rounded notes of fruit, caramel, vanilla and nut.

One of the 10% of rums made with sugar cane, this is very good.
