Tasty, but not quite great

Smooth but not like most other runs I’ve had, had a whiskey like taste without the burn. It is not a sweet rum and had a dry flavor profile. Definitely stands out as different. Lighy colored, mellow, balanced, easy drinking, slight harsh after taste (whiskey like).

An great agricole rum: dry, grassy and some slight "funk". Partly bordering on a cognac bur has some smokeyness as well.

I did not have much experience with Agricole rums, maybe I expected too much from this Agricole rum, but it was a total disappointment. This is just not for me.

So, it starts with a rich vanilla flavor and the finish is a smokey end. It's a nice rum but not the best i ever had.

Oak and smoke on the nose, with a bit of grass. Lots of oak, some caramel, and grass on the palate. Very smooth, and a good sipper. I agree with some of the other reviews that this feels a bit like a whiskey.

Oak, spice, with light floral notes on the nose...on the palate, some herbal/grassy notes with warm sugar and ripe fruit. Longish finish...Great intro sipping agricole for whisky lovers, and also works great in premium tiki cocktails.

With rhum agricole options limited on Canada's west coast, I was thrilled to get my hands on this the other day. Typical brighter grassy notes of an agricole were nicely balanced against the toffee notes. Very little residual sugar and likely no dosage makes for a dry sipper, that worked great in a Ti' Punch. As a sipper I would have liked a fraction more sweetness, but that's personal preference.

My first Rhum Agricole, not bad . Wasn’t as smooth as I’m used to . Toned down with a bit of water .
