Despite a little aging, this rum is really great. I drank it neat and it was good.

Contrabando is tasty and light rum for a party! It's a great start for exploring the world of rum. Nice clsssic spanish-style rum with tangible tones of vanilla. It would be great in your cocktail as good as pure.

Good value and would rather this over a standard captain Morgan for a cuba libre. Very sweet however and not a huge fan of the after taste.

I mostly have this while drinking in bars when the other options are only Bacardi or Havana Club. It's easy to understand, it's cheerful, has some good flavour and corresponding taste, but not that interesting or special. I'd recommend this rum to almost everybody as a sipper and to everybody in a mix.

Would rate around 60-62 out of 100. And it's not expensive, so you'd want to have it at home just in case.

Full bodied caramel, vanilla, maple syrup taste. Makes a good mixer but a surprisingly awesome sipper! (€20.-)

Nice rum with strong notes of vanilla. Like it as a mixer.

This is the only rum in which I smell macadamia nuts. Also vanilla, sugar and other classic rum flavors.

j'aime bien cette note vanillée mais pas trop caramélisée. un pur produit dans la lignée des rhums dominicains. en plus le prix est très raisonnable.
