Clement Vieux 3-Year

Too much alcohol flavour, didn't taste much else. Decent when mixed with soda, but would use a cheaper rum for that.

Mon premier rhum vieux agricole, pas un grand souvenir.
Le côté boisé est omniprésent, ce rhum manque de subtilité à mon goût.
Il passe mieux en ti punch.
edit : j'en ai goûté récemment, passable, sec, alcool et boisé omniprésents

Mijn eerste Rhum Agricole. Gemaakt van suikerriet sap ipv molasses. 3 jaar gerijpt. Wat scherper dan andere rums maar toch nog lekker. Zoetige afdronk van caramel. Mijn interesse is gewekt, op zoek naar meer franse rummetjes.

Mauvais en dégustation mais parfait en Cuba Libre ou en "ti-vieux".
En dégustation je trouve le "boisé" beaucoup trop prononcé.

Può andar bene per shot o per utilizzarlo in qualche cocktail

Here we have an agricole rhum from Martinique. Cane juice based, creole column still distilled, aged for a minimum of 3 years in heavily toasted barrels and bottled at 40% ABV.

A nice little agricole, nothing too layered, but it works great in cocktails! I enjoyed it!

Got a dram of this in the advent calendar. Wasn't for me. Maybe in an old fashion, but I was just sipping over ice and it was not for me.

Strong alcohol which dissipates of course. No too sweet, as I've been finding several rums, having researched how sugar is added except by law in Barbados and Martinique (some exceptions apply).

En svårförklarlig och märklig rom. Den smakar helt enkelt bara starkt och ganska fränt. Inte gott alls.
