Although I'm a fan of molasses-based rum I find Cachaca to be a great change of pace. It's fermented sugar cane juice without a whiff of molasses, and it's really tasty. Boazinha Cachaca doesn't have the raw, grassy flavor of many agricoles and Brazilian rums because it's been aged in oak for 4 years. It's more complex and balanced, with clean citrus and oak overtones and a smooth finish. No need for ice or mixers.
