I'm always wary of flavoured rums. A friend took a chance on this though, and man was I happy about it. Immediately on opening the bottle, you could smell the pineapple. In a good way. We poured a glass, and took a quick sniff - where did the pineapple go? All we could smell was the rum, and it smelled delicious. But, after a few moments, the pineapple was back. Subtle, but enticing. We each took a taste, and lit up. Delicious. Light brown sugar, maybe toffee, oak, spices... and the pineapple. Casually there. Not in your face, but waving 'Hi!' on every delicious sip. The soft, delicious (sweet) of the pineapple, but none of the acidity. So good. I bet it would be even better in a mixed drink (rum punch?), but I think it's too good to use for that!

This wasn't some cheap party booze. The pineapple was there, but it was still a solid rum. Highly recommended.

I personally really like the Plantation rums and this one is high on my list. I like the fact that the pineapple is infused with the rum. This is a very tasty rum especially if you enjoy a pineapple flavor in your rum drinks. It's not too expensive and worth the extra price.

Straight, on the rocks.

Easy on the nose and on the palate. Pineapple notes taste natural, sweet but not too much.

Well priced too!

Sure, it has a little sugar, but it is really tasty. I enjoyed it neat, as I also enjoy everything Plantation offers, but this is a cocktail slayer. Putting this into a traditional Daiquiri makes it even more fun. This is a great bottle to get people into good rum and away from lesser products they were drinking in college. This is a staple bottle in my house.

A very nice surprise. The pineapple really rolls around in the mouth. Sweeter than I thought. A very clear smell of pineapple. A little more "burn" and I would have given it a even higher rating.

Mycket god, mjuk rom med en smak av annanas som går igenom mycket och det tycker jag är mycket gott. En av de rom som oftast finns hemma.

Recommended by a distributor- hesitant at first, don’t like flavor. But this is subtle and flavored in all the right ways. Enjoy sipping as well

Plantation original dark with infusion of pineapples. Interesting combination, fresh with some bite on the end and enjoyable also for sipping.

As per title, please use this for mixing. The pineapple flavor is solid without being too overwhelming. It's doing the job it was asked to do, nothing excellent but not subpar. 7.5/10 as a mixer, maybe not even 5/10 neat.

Slightly sweet but also has a nice depth of flavor. Mild pineapple taste but not overly so and did not get an artificial aftertaste.

($47 CAD) I was excited to try this as I really enjoyed the 20th anniversary bottle from Plantation.

It’s a nice amber colour in the glass. It smells like pineapple a bit, less so than I thought it would.

Tastes like a solid rum infused with pineapple. It’s sweet, but the pineapple doesn’t take over the flavour of the rum. It has a rather smooth finish with little burn but also little depth. You can definitely taste the rum come in after the pineapple and I like that.

When I first tried this, it fell short of my expectations. With that being said, and as time goes on, I am liking it more and more, despite the lack of a finish. It’s so easy to drink, I feel like if you were catching up with someone drinking this, it wouldn’t take long to down the bottle. I wish it was $10 cheaper but still highly recommend it at this price point.

Mmhmm. Yep, that’s nice.
