Plantation Pineapple Stiggin's Fancy

When I think of pineapple rum, I stop thinking about pineapple rum. Captain morgan, malibu, cruzan have all done their job to stigmatize and defame it, to the point where the only good pineapple rum was a diy. Plantation blew the expectation here, as they usually do. I get caramel, pineapple, and some spices on the nose. The taste is pretty funky man. The pineapples there, but not overwhelming, like a warm embrace, Love it!! It does have a bit of a char it leaves behind, but a really fun evolution to get there. This is THE pineapple rum. Bravo Plantation.

It’s not what most people are thinking when they think pineapple rum. Still maybe better as a mixer but sipping is possible if you want

Lehce do sladka a trochu ovocnější, ananas je cítit velmi umírněně. Celkem nuda, ale to co dělá s koktejly jsem nechápal. Koktejlu dává velmi zajímavé chutě, šťáva z vodního melounu s citronem je naprosto geniální.

Interesting taste, typical Plantation body and balance, a bit tricky in the start with the heavy Pineapple taste, needs to be chilled properly and a bit of air helps.

Nice color, good taste, fresh fruit and nice finish, good drinking for night. 6/10

Very big disappointment for me. There was no sign of pineapple taste in the rum. It was bland and with strong alcohol flavor.

the smell contains pineapple hint, the taste is sweet but not pineappleish. I could sip that rum, not strong.

This is nice. Sweet enough and coming from whisky I can a bit detect the faint peat note in the back. This makes for an amazing sipping rum at the price point of 20 EUR here.
