I like very smooth, slightly sweet sipping rums. This one is not really a smooth sipping rum. But it truly is tasty and interesting with a nice little bite. It's price to flavor ratio gives it a 7 in my book.

Perfect for shots, which is exactly what it's designed for. I'd purchase it again.

On ice, this could be sipped. Very sweet, a little syrupy, heavily flavored. Lemon, pepper, something kicky... (jalapeno?) Not a particularly good rum, but it has a neat flavor, easily drinkable with Coke (or Diet Pepsi, which is what I'm currently drinking). Makes a decent shot, especially if you're in college. Neat bottle. Nothing to rave about, but it's fun.

Not good. Smells like Dr pepper. Tastes like a mouth full of black pepper soaked in lime juice. This would probably make a great wings marinade, but I definitely don't recommend actually drinking it.

I'm a fan of flavored rums, this was tough to swallow, literally. Syrupy sweet. Hint of citrus laced with kerosene. Ice cold shot was about the only way to get it down.
I'd pass on this one.

Someone else mentioned Fruity Pebbles cereal - pretty accurate if you ask me. It has a unique taste to it and I think it is best mixed with Dr. Pepper. It's kinda weird, but kinda good at the same time. Good for parties. Perfect for "Talk Like A Pirate" Day.

Great for sipping over ice or mixed with ginger ale. Doesn't have that strong bite like most aged rums. Yes it is sweet but rums main ingredient is sugar cane. If you want barrel taste with a bite, drink bourbon.

It burned quite a bit and the lime flavor to it was not pleasant

Nose = Angostura Orange Bitters - cardamom + water
Palate: not the right word. Tastes like molasses soaked oranges with a hint of baking spice.
Finish is wonky and off-putting. It's something medicinal, and not the romanticized scotch-ey sense, but medicinal as in it tastes like a bizarrely sweet cough syrup.

Cannon blast holds up to what it's trying to portray. This will never be a sipping rum or a good mixer. It's a fun shot that you take with your buddies and the bottle is a conversation piece that's it.

Fortunately, it's small size made it easy to throw away.

You have to be really desperate to try this on a regular basis. Either you are short on imagination or on moolah either ways this donkey's piss is not worth a second look.
