Great for mixing, best rum for ti punch out there. But for sipping I would give him only 4/10.
This is an excellent rhum agricole to use in a ti punch or in other rum based cocktails. I would not recommend it as a sipper. Best to stick with the aged rums for sipping. This was purpose built for ti punches.
Le clément 50° est excellent en tipunch, bien meilleur à mon gout que le 40°
I thought this made an excellent Tí Punch. Straight, not bad at all. But it really thrives in the punch. And for the price point I don’t think you can go wrong. 40% good flavor, vegetal. Not sure why so many low ratings.
Not bad! Parfait pour les ti punch. Rafraîchissant!
Comme tous les rhums agricoles, très bien pour les ti punch ou rhums arrangés.
Rhum blanc très doux qui est très agréable à boire en Ti' Punch :)
In my opinion, it is the one of the best rum to make macerations with. With Damoiseau, Bologne or Père Labat.
Good in any other usage : Ti punch or ponch.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

While I almost always drink my rum neat, I do have some cocktails, that I enjoy from time to time. One of them is the classic Ti Punch. That drink requires agricole rum, and this is the best one for the job.
Nose: Citrus peel, sugar cane and raw flowers
Taste: Raw, fruity and a little funky taste. A little lime and citrus in the finish
Overall: You can easily drink this one as a sipper, but it really unfolds with sugarcane syrup, lime juice and ice cubes
