A. H. Riise XO Royal Reserve

This is third rum from the Riise family, I ve tasted. Every single one of them was perfect! This is sweet, as Riise rums are, I can feel dried apricots inside, maybe banana.
It is not so great as non plus ultra, so only 9/10 is my grade. I need to spend more time with this rum to explore it properly :D

Sweet sipping rum or luxurious pour over fruit for dessert - or both at once.

Tohle řadím mezi top. Ovocná chuť, lehce nasladle, velmi jemné pití na celý večer. Bez ocasu, přesně tak jak mi to chutná. Místo v baru má jistě.

Fine tuned variant of XO for king Haakon. Typical AHR taste, this time wit a bit more vanilla and less orange. Taste is very sweet with vanilla, caramel and a coconut. Aftertaste is average and sticky sweet. Price is fair (40Eur in Czech Republic).

Ein Muss für jeden der gerne Rum trinkt. Süßlicher Geschmack und brennt nicht nach

It is too sweet even for the Riise standard. Very strong taste and smell of vanilla, it is more a dessert than a drink.

Duft af karamel, kokos og måske lidt banan. Meget smag af karamel og meget sød, men også lidt tyk. Ikke så meget anderledes en så mange af de andre Riise.
