A. H. Riise XO Royal Reserve

This tastes more like candy than anything else. it's enjoyable and tasty but it does not taste like rum. But as a sipping liquer it is very good.

Sweet sipping rum or luxurious pour over fruit for dessert - or both at once.

This is third rum from the Riise family, I ve tasted. Every single one of them was perfect! This is sweet, as Riise rums are, I can feel dried apricots inside, maybe banana.
It is not so great as non plus ultra, so only 9/10 is my grade. I need to spend more time with this rum to explore it properly :D

This is good stuff. Nose is euphoric with banana, toffee, orange and vanilla, and so is the pallate. This is a new favourite of mine :-)

Very well ballanced rum. Smooth taste of spicy, vanilla, orange, caramell.

Aroma tuzemáku, typické pro rumovou tresť, dost sladký, až dost řekl bych..

A.H. Riise zase trošku jinak. Vanilkovo, kokosový elixír s 42% alkoholu. V kategorii sladkých rumů určitě 10tka. Desert vanilkové zmrzliny s bílou čokoládou. Podobný profil má i Espero Coconut, ale v něm je spousta pachutě a až sprostá sladkost. Kong Haakon Royal Reserve je úplně jinde. Tady mi ta likérovost vůbec nevadí. Dávám 9b a to jen proto, že 10tky u mě dostávají spíše čisté rumy s nižší sladkostí, kde se méně snadno schovávají problémové pachutě a lihovost.
