A. H. Riise 1888 Copenhagen Gold Medal

Der A. H. Riise 1888 Copenhagen Gold Medal kostet in Deutschland etwa 35€. Die Preis-Leistung passt hier auf jeden Fall. Der Rum ist sehr süß und erinnert mit seinem Geschmack an karamelisierte Orangen, die zu Sirup verarbeitet wurden. Ab und zu kann man sich ein Gläschen gönnen, aber definitiv nichts für jeden Tag.

Not much taste and strong alcoholic finish that lasts long...

Nice smell of apricot and in tase as well, fruity but little but much sweetnes dor me, still fresh. End is fresh and lot of fruit on the pallete, 7/10

Nose - mulled wine with spicies, sugar. Sweet smell.

Taste - sweet, little bit spicy, hint of vanilla and fruits.

Interesting. It has christmas vibes.

Smells great - oaky with apricots, on the pallet there is a weird hint of leather.
Amazing with Coke.

Kdybych to hodnotil jednoduše tak by to byl prostě ananasový rum, ananas je jasně cítit ve vůni i v chuti, možná až na úkor ostatních chutí. V chuti jde krom ananasu cítit ještě trošku rozinky

Schönes sattes Bernstein im Glas.
In der Nase frisch und fruchtig. Karamellsauce die langsam von einem mit kandierten Früchten gespickten Vanilleeis tropft. Garniert ist das leckere Dessert mit Orangen und Limetten Zesten, einem Hauch Zimt und Hobelspänen.
Am Gaumen weich und warm. Karamell dominiert, fast wie ein Sirup mit eingelegten Zitrusfrüchten. Die Vanille kommt auch nicht zu kurz, Holz und Kakao Töne halten sich dezent zurück.
Im Abgang bleibt eine leichte bittere Süsse zurück.
Ein süsser Rum für Liebhaber solcher Dinge, auch zu Kaffee und Kuchen sicher lecker.

Beautiful rich amber in the glass.
Fresh and fruity on the nose. Caramel sauce that slowly drips from a vanilla ice cream studded with candied fruit. Garnished with orange and lime zest, a hint of cinnamon and shavings, this is a delicious dessert.
Soft and warm on the palate. Caramel dominates, almost like a syrup with pickled citrus. Vanilla does not come up short either, wood and cocoa tones hold back discreetly.
In the finish, a slight bitter sweetness remains.
A sweet rum for lovers of such things, also to coffee and cake certainly delicious.
