This rum has a beautiful dark golden colour and a nice mild (not harsh) smell. The flavour is rich, with sweet and smoky tones. Makes an excellent rum and coke!
I’m giving it an 8 only if I were to compare it to rums of a similar like. Most of the rums I have rated on this site are aged many years, however this rum has an outstanding capability to mix with other juicies, sodas, self-made syrups, among others. It turns your cocktail to the sweet side but it will keep its distinctiveness.
I made a Mai Tai with this today. What can I say? Delicious. And it's $20. I don't drink spirits neat, so I can't speak for that quality, but as a mixer, it's superb.
For a 4 year old rum it is good. I like the 12 year rum they offer a lot better.
I decided to give this a try based on its rating. It’s smooth with a hint of vanilla, and it tastes great in a mixer (how I usually consume my rum). It’s not bitter and grows on you as you finish your first drink and happily order/make another. Thumbs up!
This was a good rum. I don't LOVE it, but nothing to complain about. Good flavor, nice finish. Good with Coke.
This rum just makes the sipper class for me..and at about $20 bucks a bottle that is something...slight alcohol bite, but that's expected at 4 years. Great as a mixer as well.
its a good rum to drink in the Cubas Libres. The flavour is good!
Not smooth enough for a Sipping Rum, but ideal for mixing with coke
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Being honest - I'm just beginning a journey into the rum universe. Picked up this bottle after looking at reviews (and price). I'm enjoying it with Coke and by itself. A very good start.
