Don Papa 10-Year

C'est pas du rhum ça... Imbuvable...
Une belle arnaque pour le prix demandé.
Je met 2 pour la belle étiquette.

Bien que plus cher que le 7 ans, ce rhum a un goût plus prononcé et plus marqué quoi que toujours aussi rond ! Son prix est vraiment le point faible, pour le reste il fait vraiment bien le job !

un bon compromis par rapport au 7 and, je le trouve moins sucré et moins « trafiqué « , toujours avec beaucoup d’aromes. La différence avec le 7 ans est bien là

Really smooth aged with subtle hints of orange and vanilla... Highly recommended!!!

If you like regular Don Papa this is slightly spicier, a little more nuanced but not enough to justify the price difference. I'd recommend sticking with the basic Papa.

Don Papa 10 Years is een premium aged small batch rum van het eiland Negros Occidental, Filippijnen. Gedestilleerd uit een van de beste suikerrieten in de wereld, Don Papa is eerst 10 jaar gerijpt in Amerikaanse eiken vaten op de uitlopers van de berg Kanlaon om daarna tot perfectie gemaakt te kunnen worden. Op de neus heeft deze rum krachtige tonen van gedroogde vruchten, rozijnen en cadao. Het palet is rijk en zijde zacht met een vleugje kruiden en eiken. De afdronk is lang en glad met noten van cacao en vanille.

This rum is not bad with notes of cacao and brown sugar.

Ve vůni je částečně cítit sladkost, méně než u 7y, rozinky a kakao, chuť nasládlá, ovoce a kakao, vypálené sudy mají své kouzlo

Sevillana Cask, Sherry Cask, Rare Cask a Masskaru vnímán jako obrovske zklamání. Jediné pro mne pitelné je 10y a občas 7y.

Similar nose and taste like Don papa small batch, but in aftertaste You can find chocolate.

Got this as a business gift. Its a lot better then the Don Papa small batch. Smoother, natural and not artificial tasting like the small batch. Quite enjoyed the bottle. Would give 7.5 if it was possible.
