Mombacho Sherry Wood 21-Year

This spanish styled rum is a wonderful concert of flavours from the nose until the finish.
Every sip it gets better, never getting tired of it or the feeling it is overwhelming. This rum shines with vanilla, caramell, amarena sherry, earthy chocolate and its great silky smooth but not too oily texture. It is for sure not overly complex, however,
prefectly balanced, not too sweet and really mouth filling. I had over 150+ rums in my life and I would consider this in my top 3. Wow, glad I found you Mombacho.

I really love Mombacho series. They are rich and creamy, and also has tasty chocolate flavor. No strange spice flavor.
This version has strong effect of sherry wood. It has noble fruity aroma.
However, I think, richness and depth are spoiled from normal Mombacho.
I think this is good rum when it tastes as "a rum".

Deze Sherry Wood Finish is Buitengewoon.
Mooie levendige en licht amberkleurige Rum.
1é impressie in de neus is zijn zacht fruitige geuren en vanille, zéér licht houterig en duidelijke ondertonen van kersen & kersenhout.
Zéér zacht en aangenaam in de mond, tongstrelend elegant en creamy.
Kersen, vanille & zoethout komen hier zeker terug.
Lang aanhoudend en steeds terugkerend.
Na een 20 tal minuutjes in het glas merk ik zelfs een vleugje turf op.
Deze Rum heeft elegantie & finesse, misschien iets vrouwelijk, maar daar hou ik nu juist van !
Niet de goedkoopste , maar dubbel en dik zijn geld waard !!!
