Relicario Dominicano Superior

Nice rum with a feeling of vanilla and wood, which goes with cigars and mixed. I was pleasantly surprised by this rum. But for a heavy evening with good cigars and male conversations, I would choose something like Santiago de Cuba Anejo 12y :)

This is good, but not very good and I would only buy when on discount.

This the second time I have tried Dominican rum, and I am not a fan. Relicario rum do not have any flavor and is not smooth at all. I do not recommend this one at all.

Flaska je reprezentativna. Je to flasa podobna ako maju aj rumy Santos Dumont.

Rum vsak az tak dobry nie je. Vona je sladsia, prijemna. V chuti je rum mierne sladky hlavne po vanilke aj ked ta vanilka nie je uplne prirodzena. V zavere je citit dub a trosku dymu.
U nas sa da kupit od 23 eur, ale za tie peniaze su uz lepsie rumy, ale nie v krajsej flaske :)

Nice looking bottle on the shelf but the liquid is quite forgettable.

Na prvý pohľad ma upútala pekná hranatá fľaša z ťažkého skla s mohutným dreveným vrchnákom. Netušil som, do čoho idem, jedinou informáciou bol pre mňa dominikánsky pôvod. Vôňa je dosť suchá, s dominanciou tabaku, kože, v pozadí znela až trochu synteticky. Chuťovo je najskôr nasladlý, po prehltnutí sa však sladké tóny rýchlo vytrácajú. Na jazyku zostane len drevo, dym, tabak, možno trocha vanilky. Zaujímavý, no úprimne, v danej cenovej kategórii mi imponujú trochu iné typy, ľahšie, s ovocným pozadím. Verím, že sa nájde dosť priaznivcov, ja sa k nemu už zrejme nevrátim.

Superior only in name. Great bottle, but that's where the greatness ends.

Simple easy drinking rum. Dark colored and strong sweet smell. No strong rum/alcohol taste. Not the best rum, but you get your money’s worth. Extra point for the bottle.
