The color alone makes my heart beat.. Then the knowledge that oliver and oliver was there.. The hopes are high.. The scent is suddle.. Hints of loads of flaveours.. And the taste.. What a taste.. Dark, full of sugar but not sweet.. And you can feel the tastes fading for a full minute..

In general are almost all Oliver & Oliver rum good stuff. This is a very enjoyable rum to drink, it has a lot of sweetness, and a soft power.

Nose : I find vanilla, oak, a little spices, and just delicious sweetness

Taste : I find vanilla, oak, molasse, spices and power. The aftertaste is sweet with a soft power and few seconds after the oak and molasses comes along, nice!!

Smooth yes. Tasty but not much going on here. Not complex. Very short finish. No alcohol bite. Nothing to linger on the pallet. No, it's just too thin. No depth. Really another disappointing Solera aged rum. A definite trend is forming here. Solera is NOT good. Would make a great mixer but not a good sipper. Doesn;'t have the character of other quality aged rum.

Really nice rum , sweet like most oliver and oliver rums. slight pepperiness, vanilla, caramel. pretty well balanced with a nice finish. i especially liked the pouch it was packaged in gave it a bit of a luxurious feel.

Could've been a great rum but I miss the lack of body and the thickness of the flavours. The ABV could be higher I think...

So far the best rum I've tasted. The taste was greatly balanced.

Tipical oliver & oliver rum, similar to the quorhum 30.
First, you have to let it breath in the glass for 10/15 minutes.
Then, some alcool remains to the nose, vanilla, oak and some sweetnes.
On the palate, the rum is sweet but not overpowering, with flavours of almonds, oak, vanilla, dried fruits and sugar cane.
The end is long and sweet, with some oak in ti.
For me, this rum is a 9+
