Dark color. Sweet toffee. A lot of sweetness. It is good and easy to drink. But also too anonymous and plain.

I really like this one and I am not a huge fan of Dominican rums. But Exquisito is very complex, extremelly well balanced rum with both nose and taste being great.

Smell: Sweetness, chocolate, a bit of wood. Very nice.

Taste: Chocolate, wood, very complex and long tasting, a hint of vanilla.

It costs same money as 23yo Presidente and is one class above it. Definitely recomandable to anyone.

This Rum is very close to the Ron Esclavo 15 year product also produced by Oliver & Oliver! it is not bad Rum, let it brief for around 10-15 minutes and it will taste even more.

Dark rum, with a sweet dark toffee aroma. Although the profile is "darker" then the average Oliver & Oliver product, the palette still has clear company resemblance. It's big on very sweet toffee and some sweet dried fruit notes followed by a slightly bland oaky finish. I find it a pleasant sipper, but perhaps a little boring.

It's addictive drink. First impression - it's somehow the same as all Dominican rums, but as much I consume it as more differences found.
It's 40° proof vs many underproof (37..38°), does a little alcogol kick. Perfectly smooth, oily, fruity, not too much sweet. Surprised that so old rum has not a lot cask notes. Its best feature long impressive aftertaste.

Merry Christmas!
Cheersñ

Al naso è delicato, con canna da zucchero, cacao, caffè, zucchero bruciato.
Al palato è dolce con caffè, il finale è corto e poco corposo.

Vanilla, oak, caramel and cocoa touch in aroma; honey in the beginning, caramel/vanilla in the middle and chocolate in the end of the body with; decent woody finish which lasted in the average lasted tail.

Good sippin rum, a bit burning in the first sips, needs a bit of air, a bit alcoholic also in the opening, there's a bit of caramel and cocoa, very nice rum 4 the price.

Numbered rum in nice blue bag with golden embroidery. But inside is typical Oliver, for me start to be boring after so many subtle variations. Sweet and woody.

Is exquisit in deed. A smooth and sweet rum, very good balanced. A rum for everyone!
