Captain Morgan Spiced Rum is made by combining yeasts, molasses, water and mash, which are then distilled in a continuous still. The rum is aged for up to 1 year followed by the addition of spices and flavors indigenous to the Caribbean Islands.
Captain Morgan Spiced is owned by Diageo and produced in Puerto Rico by the famous Destilieria Serralles, Inc. The company Captain Morgan is named after the 17th-century Welsh privateer of the Caribbean, Sir Henry Morgan was an admiral in the Royal British Navy who earned a knighthood in 1674.

une belle merde, gout prononcer d'épice qui sont la pour masquer la daube, même couper au jus d'orange se gout de caramel gâche tout, à fuir de toute urgence!!!
It's captain Morgan, the flagship of rums like jack Daniels is the go to whiskey. Sure there is better stuff out there but you always know what you're getting with some good ole CM. Delicious with coke and a squirt of lime and fantastic in ginger ale. Adds a nice subtle sweetness without overdoing it. Not extremely complex but it's not claiming to be. It's a good go to rum for mixing.

At most local bars and restaurants, there will be a bottle of Bacardi Superior and Captain Morgan. It's pretty much the "standard" in the rum section. The entry level spiced rum for the category.
It doesn't taste bad, but it doesn't taste good either. If it wasn't on the shelf of every local bar, I would forget it existed. When I get really desperate, I order this with some cranberry and pineapple juice. You know, a drink to hold as I stand dreaming about finer spirits.

Own one of these? Pour it out. Not even worth drinking with coke. Synthetic caramel taste. Shameful.

Maybe the best of the mid-priced Captain Morgan selection. It's mild and full of caramel/vanilla tones. Easy drinking.
i absolutly love this in a tall glass with ice and coke

Captain Morgan is an average spiced rum with sweetness that goes with the blended spices flavors of cloves, nutmeg,cinamamon, etc. There is a vanilla-like taste and feel in the mouth. If you like them on the sweet side, this rum is worth a try. Nice at Christmas (winter)
