Captain Morgan Spiced Rum is made by combining yeasts, molasses, water and mash, which are then distilled in a continuous still. The rum is aged for up to 1 year followed by the addition of spices and flavors indigenous to the Caribbean Islands.
Captain Morgan Spiced is owned by Diageo and produced in Puerto Rico by the famous Destilieria Serralles, Inc. The company Captain Morgan is named after the 17th-century Welsh privateer of the Caribbean, Sir Henry Morgan was an admiral in the Royal British Navy who earned a knighthood in 1674.

Kan næste ikke vente med at smage denne! - Har været på stor indkøb og købt lidt forskelligt :)
like meany my first spiced rum was Captain Morgan's, and its was not only made me fall in love with spiced rum but rum in its self. now after iv moved on to other rums and spirits coming back to where it started, is it good?
yea not blow you'er socks off awesome it has its place. If you're just starting out then yea go for it try it make you're own opinion I feel its not as bad as many say maybe its just what it stands for with me but I'll still keep a bottle in the cabinet when i want a throw back.
But not by much. The spices and vanilla flavouring mask some of the badness.
rum con note di vaniglia un po secco, Leggermente invecchiato ma in linea con il prezzo
Ce Captain Morgan Spiced se boit volontiers en Cuba Libre :)
Used to drink this in my late teens/early 20's when going to bars/clubs when I wanted something else than beer.
Mixed with coke it's quite OK, but nothing special. Can still drink it occasionally when I want a cheap rum and coke.
Not for drinking straight up!
It is good with cola, very easy drinking.
This has a pleasant vanilla, honey, and marshmallow smell and taste to it, albeit it seems to lack a solid core rum flavor (maybe I've gotten too used to aged rums). Quite easy drinking and smooth at only 35%, but again, it seems to lack a core rum flavor and is somewhat artificial tasting.
It was the first rum I have tasted and it was not that good to be honest. It is okay when mixed with cola but do not expect anything great. If you do not have money for something better, and want to drink rum with your friends on a party, this one will do just fine. Do not even think to drink it straight up... seriously.
Sugar: 43 gpl. This is basically a light white rum with caramel and some baking spices. The flavors would be lost in anything you mixed it with leaving you with just the rum effects. If you run out of unflavoured rum and are mixing drinks, this will do in a pinch. I am not saying it's a bad rum, but if you don't like the bolder tastes of other spiced rums, this one might be for you. There are better spiced rums, but for bars and budgets this will do just fine.
The perfect wingman for coke
