Captain Morgan Dark rum is a blend of five different rums from Jamaica, Guyana and Barbados. The blended rum mixture is distilled in a two part process using both pot stills and continuous stills and then aged for 2 to 7 years in charred oak barrels.
Since 2011, the Captain Morgan rum brand has used the slogan ""To life, love and loot."

Cpt Morgan's was my introduction to rum and I spent many weekends sloshing an entire bottle straight. After more consideration towards my health, I found that its decent mixed, but can't escape that slight 'harsh alcohol' flavour. There is a nice dash of treacle and almost liquorice/ anise, but tends to be a little too much. Not bad if there is not alternative, but in this price range id rather choose lambs or OVD.
Hey captain! Instead of trying to figure out how many flavors you can come up with, why not just try to make one good one?
Nothing about this rum excites me however does it do its job of being a mixer rum yes and is good with coke but rubbish straight up or rocks
Strong, a bit harsh but with a nice sweetness... I just can't really enjoy it straight, and for use in mixes there are simply better alternatives.
Perfectly acceptable dark rum for mixing but thats as far as it goes. Very sweet and has a bit of a bite. I can taste sugar , molasses and some spice. Not very good neat but pleasant enough with coke or ginger beer.
Like CM with Coke only.
Basic demerara & molasses rum flavor, sweet and sweeter with Coke. A bar-staple pretty much everywhere you go, this is what you're getting if you ask for a double dark & Coke. I speak from experience!
Decent enough rum in the mix, and pretty okay straight up. Does hint to the spiced side though.
commentaire a venir
The rum is very pungent.
"When sipped (very cautiously) the rum just give the palate a very hot spicy peppered burn. The finish is very short and quite severe."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Wiadomo 偶e mo偶na go okre艣li膰 jako party rum dost臋pn膮 w szerszej skali, na szcz臋艣cie nie pami臋tam smaku nic a nic gdy偶 by艂o to grubo ponad 10 lat temu.
ZAPACH: Intensywny palony cukier, stare beczki, banda偶e troch臋 s艂odyczy oraz nut aptecznych.
SMAK: Delikatna s艂odycz, zio艂a, syrop na kaszel (ten raczej bardziej "niedobry"). Daleko mo偶na wyczu膰 mleczna czekolad臋 oraz zm臋czone beczki.
Co mog臋 dzi艣 o nim powiedzie膰? Minus za wyra藕ne nuty szpitalno-lekowe kt贸re mog膮 cz臋艣膰 os贸b odrzuca膰. Mi osobi艣cie zupe艂nie nie przeszkadza艂y.
