Thanks so much for submitting a report. It has been emailed to the Rum Captain and will be actioned shortly.
Captain Morgan Dark rum is a blend of five different rums from Jamaica, Guyana and Barbados. The blended rum mixture is distilled in a two part process using both pot stills and continuous stills and then aged for 2 to 7 years in charred oak barrels.
Since 2011, the Captain Morgan rum brand has used the slogan ""To life, love and loot."
OK for a very low budget rum, but a little bit harsh
Good dark Rum .Smell better than Captain Morgan Spiced. Good to mix.
Smagte den i Gløgg, og piftet den dejlig op.
Kan kun anbefales at pifte Gløggen op med lidt mørk Rom. 😀
Für den Alkoholanteil gibts nen Punkt mehr. Soll es als 70% nicht mehr gebeb. Ansonsten ein stark nach Rosinen riechender Durchschnittsrum. Für Punch und zum mixen gut
Revised (I mistakenly rated this earlier): I've not tasted this and I can't find a way to delete this rating. Since making this errorr I've looked for it in three other states (besides home) and I can't find this. For now I've rated it close to the average.
People may drink this because of the adds but once you drink better rums you know being a captin is a pretty low rank
Mörk morgan funkar till det mesta.
Sweet and spicy but only use with mixers. Try Myers dark rum to compare.

Not bad as a mixer, it added some complicity and is smoother than l expected. Not aged but it's spiced so why care?
Standard supermarket rum. Good to mix
The blend is all over the place and is just wholely unpleasant
This is the one you will get if you are drunk. I don't consider this to be rum at all;)
A satisfactory rum that can be found everywhere. Not very smooth but usually very cheap and fine for a rum and coke/ginger.
This is the Rum that started me on my Rum journey.
Sadly this is often the best rum to be found at local bars. It's pretty rough, but consumable with enough mixer. Some of this brands other offerings are palatable, but there are so many better choices for a couple dollars more. I would never purchase it at a store, but occasionally in a bar it's acceptable.
This stuff is rough. Its definitely a frat house rum with a frat house appeal. Just nasty
Sadly time, money and commercialization are putting the nails in its coffin for me which is so sad. I would gladly pay extra for an improved version of this
Pleasant and tasty rum.
Will do if nothing better is available. I find it over spiced and a bit harsh. No way can I drink this straight up or on the rocks, just to rough in my opinion. I find it mixes best with coke and is a bit to much for tonic.
Overused in the bar industry. Waterdown most of the time. Will do when nothing else is available.
To be honest I like sweet rums, doesn't matter if sipper or mixer, but this one is even for me too sweet.
As some have here already mentioned: good for cooking or with coke, but for me only one captain morgan+coke.
