Puerto Rico | Dark | 40% ABV
Captain Morgan Dark rum is a blend of five different rums from Jamaica, Guyana and Barbados. The blended rum mixture is distilled in a two part process using both pot stills and continuous stills and then aged for 2 to 7 years in charred oak barrels.
Since 2011, the Captain Morgan rum brand has used the slogan ""To life, love and loot."

It is forced with sweetenings. Only for cocktails. Too much alcohol that overcomes the taste. Very poor in aromas

Another rum that needs to be mixed with something. Not worth the effort of opening the bottle.

Cheap rum with very artificial flavors. Rum and coke with lots of ice is the way to go with a rum like this but even then I'd recommend spending a bit more for some better rum.

This rum could be add to tea or cake - nothing else.

Cheap rum, which is ideal for college parties.....
It is hard to drink this solo, and too much smoked to drink with cola...
The rum has a sharp and unpleasant taste. A very bright alcohol component that is difficult to drown even in a cocktail.
