I first tried this and enjoyed it in the UK. It was easily available there at the time and seemed quite popular, along with Kraken Black Spiced Rum. Since then I have also seen it in Dubai duty free. At first I really liked it (mixed with diet coke), but now I reckon it is mainly the product of good marketing and is too sweet and strongly caramel/vanilla flavoured. I read that it is made from "Caribbean Blackstrap rum", with clove spice, cassia bark, taste of cinnamon and clove. Easy to drink and I'm very happy to sink a few of these, but it is not what I look for in a rum nowadays.
Dobrý základ ak chcete vyskúšať nejaký koreneny rum. Nesklame ani nenadchne. Je to príjemná zmena oproti klasickému captain Morgan ktorý vám naleju takmer všade.

Easy to get the rhum, better choice than Basic morgan.longer aging nice Taste.

with other blank spiced rhum. Personnally prefer the sailor jerry. for drinks only.
A spicy rum, smooth. I enjoyed it. A good rum poolside!
Strong vanilla and caramel flavor with a strong kick at 47% ABV, perfect for mixing. Almost the same as the Kraken but this one finish in a nice and smooth flavor.
My title is pretty much self explanatory. I couldn't tell a real difference between this and kraken except that captain morgan seems to have the edge with it being more full flavored (vanilla, spices, molasses, ect.). I did like it mixed.

The only captain Morgan I'll buy. I mix it with coke or in eggnog. Great sweet vanilla flavour, but a bit much most of the time. It's enjoyable on occasion and a product captain Morgan actually got right.

There is a little hint of clove and nutmeg present on the nose as well but predominantly it is sweet vanilla. .
"This is a very sweet drink. The rum burns a little on exit but after a few sips the burn subsides. There is a little hint of oaked ageing in the aftertaste."

This is a decent rum. It's got clove, vanilla, molasses, and a touch of cinnamon. It reminds me a lot of eggnog, so I think this might be a great rum to use in your eggnog (though I haven't tried it).
A lot of reviewers compare this with Kraken, as this is both dark and 47%abv. And I agree with most of those reviewers that side by side the Kraken is better.
But this is definitely good. :-)
