Iβve tried a few of the more common black rums and this is my favorite as a mixed drink rum. Smokey flavor and higher proof really work for me.

I'm the first to say that my palate is not very refined. I've only been expanding my rum taste for a few years, but I've been drinking Morgan Black for ten or fifteen years. When I pick a loser it's always there to wash the bad taste out of my mouth.

Avoid and donβt buy. Chemically developed taste. Nothing more to add. Buy a bottle of Mount Gay or Havana Club if you cantβt find any agricoles.

All kind words i can have about this one would be about its amazing distribution chain and its bottle, the liquor is poor quality at best.

I might have had a bad bottle but I found this to be undrinkable. Smelt like ethanol and bush fire. Tastes like sweet dirty charcoal. Harsh to swallow.

disappointing expected more clear barrel taste but I v got spice box

There is a little hint of clove and nutmeg present on the nose as well but predominantly it is sweet vanilla. .
"This is a very sweet drink. The rum burns a little on exit but after a few sips the burn subsides. There is a little hint of oaked ageing in the aftertaste."
