Easily consumable in a bind
As a huge lover of Jagermeister, this rum is so interesting, so many spices, so much sweety/fresh taste it makes my throat so warm like no other, aftertaste is warm, strong, powerful...I like that. For me, this is winter rum :) Really nice.
Significantly more refined than Captain Dark, sippable. In coke it seems a bit lost. If anything, it resembles Kraken, but has a tad less sugar. On the nose it is vanilla, spices, the taste The taste itself is not complicated, vanilla, caramel, the aftertaste is shortish but pleasant, with a hint of oak. Not actually bad for the money.
tried iet for the first time . I got a hint of vinalla and you can deffinately tastethe clover. this is the first spirit that I can drink stait and wil recommend this for everyone to try
I'm the first to say that my palate is not very refined. I've only been expanding my rum taste for a few years, but I've been drinking Morgan Black for ten or fifteen years. When I pick a loser it's always there to wash the bad taste out of my mouth.
For a $25 bottle of rum you would be surprised. Not a harsh taste and 47.3% which makes this quite viable for an afternoon drink. Taste good on the rocks or a mixed drink. Great if you're on a budget or don't want to spend a lot of money when friends come over while still providing a fairly decent drink LOL.
Avoid and don’t buy. Chemically developed taste. Nothing more to add. Buy a bottle of Mount Gay or Havana Club if you cant’t find any agricoles.
