A very hot, very young spirit with no direction. Unfortunately, my main gripe with this one is that it is over-distilled and doesn't even taste like rum. For the claims on the bottle that it is "distilled from molasses," there are absolutely no flavor notes of sugar or caramel except for a very faint French-like style of sugarcane on the nose. It smells grassy, but goes down like cheap vodka or unaged whiskey, with a chemical finish. If you're looking for cheap hooch, it's not the worst thing on the planet, but there's really no reason to add this to any collection or spend the money if you want rum. There's much better stuff out there for the same price point.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Pretty rough, but gets more tasty . . . as a mixer . . . after a few.
They make something called Rumskey, which is 50% molasses and 50% grains that is so much better. "It's not rum. It's not whiskey. It's Rumskey."
