Beautiful flavor leaving the mouth feeling sweet. Smooth and sharp at the same time, with hints of tropical fruits accenting the almost dessert-like taste.

This one is silky smooth from start to finish - there is no unpleasant burn, just gentle velvety ending, just the way I like it. It is also quite sweet, I can feel vanilla, caramel and perhaps even coconut accents. This rum convinced me to go and give rums a chance.

I've sampled rums from £3 to £150 and this is the best I've had to drink straight. Beautiful sweet coconut, zero burn, leaves you wanting more.

Haven't tried mixing it, I would imagine it is too sweet but why would you want to anyway? Superb.

An amazing and smooth rum with only a pleasant aftertaste, this rum combines everything that’s great about rum perfectly. It’s hard to imagine any rum beating it - a bargain at even double the price

Well over 700 aged dark rums enjoyed and Plantation XO 20th Anniversary is easily on my Top 5 list after 15 years. It is sublime, super smooth, no burn at all and contains plenty of amazing flavors. If you haven't tried yet Plantation XO 20th Anniversary, go quickly and get a bottle since it will set a brand new benchmark for your personal rum list.

Nose: Hints of spicy oak on the nose with guava, plenty of coconut and dried banana.
Palate: Spiced, creamy palate entry, with sweet vanilla notes and a lot of caramel.
Finish: Caramel. Toasted oak. Caramel.

My good friend Mark had me over for a rum tasting last night, this was the first I sampled, thoroughly sublime with a slight butterscotch or caramel hint, also a bit of fruit notes. Not overly sweet though, well balanced and smooth, top notch sipper! This, Diplimatico, Papa’s Pilar and El Dorado are my current favorites. Thanks Mark!

Complexity of aged rum, perfect balance of tastes plus coconut flavor. Especially coconut is the taste that makes this rum so different. For me nr. 1.

This rum really nails it for me.
Nice & sweet, but not too much
Complex rummy flavour
Fruity coconut hints
Natural tasting
You really get a taste of the Caribbean here, simply fantastic.
