Kaffee, Schokolade, etwas Banane, nicht zu sΓΌΓ. Langer Nachhall.
Ein sehr guter ausgewogener Rum. In der Nase erinnert er extrem an getrocknete Bananen.
Interessant, kein sΓΌsser Mainstream.
Color and aroma fake due to massive amout of caramel used. I doubt if this product if even from Mauritius. On bottles it says somethink about Spain. Solera 5 from them is total scam. No relevant info to be found and no answers ever from them.
my friend brought bottle of this nice rum. it comes in nice bottle. at first sip I didn't liked it so much(it taste a bit heavy for me) but after I gave it second try it comes out as nice rum to sip
Very intresting taste. taste: wood, burn leather, chocolate. Litle bit heavy rum for me. This is not my taste...
Nose: Brown sugar, banana
Taste: Sweet sugar, oak
Clear, banana, sugar, not cacao, coffee
Like Ron zacapa, but clear and banana taste
This rum has a strong taste of peanut / walnut. I really like it on the rocks. Great flavour and leaves a nice aftertaste.
Quite sweet, but sort of agressive...Hard to describe...A bit of Alcool burn.
It has a very distinctive taste, sort of like the Don Papa but in it's own way. Not very much what most people are looking for when they buy Aged Rum...
Not my taste...
Unique flavour different tour o so devine... Very nice lush flavour wow very surprised by this rum
It has a slightly sweet/sour kind of bourbon hint to the nose.
"The taste is predominantly a very deep char which gives a sweet and sour type mouthfeel β again very similar to a Bourbon Whiskey."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Horrible concoction

I am not sure what exactly they did with this rum. Apparently, regulations allow for whatever they come up with.
The result is horrible. Not only is it way too sweet (lots of sugar added, I am sure of that), but there also is a strange note of nougat and some sickingly sweet milk powder. Plus there is a very strange (and very artificial) bubble gum note in the background, that is completely disconnected from everything else in this "rum". Reminds me of some sort of artificial nougat liqueur.
I cannot detect the coconut that everyone seems to get.
Luckily, I only got a 5 cl sample, which I tried mulitple times and which I am not going to finish.
It is so bad, it makes me think my batch might have been off. And it is not even cheap.
