Ron Zacapa 2013 Reserva Limitada

Len och söt men inte väldigt söt, smakar zacapa. Ingen spritsmak.
En mycket god rum.

I've been drinking Zacapa for a while now and this Reserva Limitada is a little of the taste I'm used to know with some new taste. Definitely a flavor wasted in a mix.

Really smooth and rich. The extra 5% gives it a bit of an burning kick on the front, with a fade to caramel and a taste you just want to keep going back to. At the price, you should probably excercise moderation though!

Aroma is typical Zacapa. Taste is full fruity and sweet. Not so much wooden like other Limited vrsions. Aftertaste is longer and nice.

This is more refined than 23 but in the area. Nothing surprising like the 2014.

Good stuff! Has that extra kick to it that the mass produced Zacapas are lacking. Well balanced and warm, yet just enough sweetness to make it work.
I prefer this over the 2014.

Very similar to the 2014 in its characteristics. Round, absence of alcohol when you smell it. Quite well balanced, powerful ! But once again, quite not a 9. it is a bit too casual.

The soft taste-quality of Zacapa rum was replaced here against a smoky note .
Perfect nose : smoke , caramel, chocolate .
When drinking just a little too sharp.

Das Geschmeidige und Weiche eines hochwertigen Zacapa Rums wurde hier gegen eine rauchige Note ersetzt. Schöne Nase: Rauch, Karamell, Schokolade. Beim Trinken nur eben ein wenig zu scharf.

Light sweetness for the nose. Gentle tast in the mouth. Then the afterburn kicked in, which was quite long. Something familiar mixed with something new.
