This is a good value price wise, species rum but has little depth to the flavours on the rocks.. I imagine it's fantastic with coke but on its own reminds me of lambs navy rum flavoured with vanilla

This rum is cheap. 14.98 Euro for 70cl in Galway Ireland. (Liquor is generally very expensive here so it is cheap in comparison)

I have drank 10 - 15 bottles of this rum. It certainly out perfroms slightly more expensive white rums like Captain Morgan White Rum and Old Hopking white rum.

It is far from the best. but it certainly beats many. I would suggest to chase with a sip of coke as it the flavors are complementary. if you cant spend more than 15 euro..you probably arent drinking this on the rocks. If your are willing to spend the big bucks. By all means get something better. If you are looking for a damn fine rum for the price. You've found it.

In consderation of smile per bottle. This gets a 10/10.

Loads of coffee and vanilla with a little chemical taste. However not unpleasant and has the right amount of sweetness. At price point its decent.

Strong vanilla flavour , good with Coke , mixes well . Bought at Lidl 13.79 euro in Ireland . You can drink it all night and feel fine in the morning . Good basic rum , better than Bacardi for sure .

This is from Reunion, made then either by Savanna or Riviere du Mat. And man does it taste! Lots of flavours, beats the big brand white rums 6-0 any day! Only disappointment is the low alcohol, but - the price is amazingly cheap. What a bargain, price vs quality 10+. Rated based on what it was in 2017 from Germany LIDL.

Prodotto indecoroso, buono solo se sei un barbone alcolizzato

This seems to be a rum that's been made to cash in on the current popularity of Kraken. It's heavy on vanilla, but has a somewhat more synthetic taste.

It's not a bad rum, but not the best I've had. If you're going to be drinking it with coke, you could convince yourself it's Kraken or Black Magic after you've had a few. Given the low price, that's not bad. For drinking neat though, you can tell that it's lower quality.

Open it up and you smell a syrup-like alcohol scent. However, the alcohol is not a classic cheap vodka burning of the nostrils, it's really not that bad, but does definitely smell of alcohol. Possibly a hint of vanilla but if so it's very faint and could simply be an effect of the sugary syrup smell. It certainly doesn't have a variety of different flavours to enjoy, in that sense it's a bit like a rum flavoured vodka. This means it mixes fine with drinks and will add a sweet rum taste without adding other flavours. If you're looking for a cheap spirit to put with mixers which is more interesting than vodka then for £9.99 in Lidl you can't go wrong. If you're looking for a flavourful drink with character to sip or to make cocktails more interesting, then you should look elsewhere. Easily consumable with mixers.
