A bit too much alcohol, but a nice entry. Price wise is wrongly placed.

I was offered this rum in a bar. It was hidden behind other rums and the name and description were interesting enough to give it a try. The King of Spain had good reasons to ban this! It's between somehow undrinkable and kind of exotic! Dangerous. It has quite a strong raising and portwine-ish taste. Give it a try, don't buy a bottle!

Bon goût rhum gras et d'une belle couleur a essayer.

Ikke en rom med lang eftersmag, men overraskelser undervejs.
Farven er meget mørk, nærmest som lys cola. Aromaen er næsten helt fraværende. Smagen giver anledning til at undersøge denne rom. Der er helt sikkert noget blomme, som kommer fra fadene.

If you like chocolate this is your boy. It's a bit industrial but not too expensive and worth more than 5.

Pas vraiment un rhum de dégustation, à boire avec du coke ou du 7up. Belle histoire, belle bouteille, peux-être que dans le temps c'était le meilleur rhum au monde mais pas aujourd'hui.

nez caramel vif et café.
particulier, suave et tres sucré
goût ,entree en bouche très sucré sur cacao et sirop d étable , puis carton mouille suave café, cacao reglisé

N- Quite heavy on caramel, herbs, vanilla, sandalwood and spiced milk tea. Roasted red apple with edgy creaminess and some salty tang. Acceptable aroma but appeared subdue and heavy and sluggish. (79/16)

P- Dried fruits, lemon custard, plummy and buttery. More tart fruits that stays with cloudy nuance. (82/17)

F- Short-medium, spices, much like a solera, gingery sweet. (80/17)

B/B- 81/17. Was a solera indeed after a 2nd look on the retro-styled label, common trick for rum labeling, large numeric font with tiny words....

Un rhum qui m'a intrigué de par sa couleur assez sombre, qui me semblait de ce fait assez sucré en bouche mais après un achat et de ce fait u'e dégustation il n'est pas sucré en goût, il en ressort, de mon point de vue gustatif des notes de chocolat, d'épices et de vanilles... Surprenant en bouche mais aussi par son histoire, ce rhum mexicain mérite le détour mais n'est pas pour moi un incontournable à posséder...
