El Ron Prohibido Habanero 12-Year

With the word "Habanero" on the bottle you get certain expectations. There is a spicy taste to this rum, but nothing like the word suggests.

Nose: Prunes and brown sugar
Taste: It is very sweet with a hint of prunes and suddenly there is a odd spicy taste, that I can´t really describe.
Overall: This was just disappointing. Had high hopes for this one, but it really lacks a clear flavour profile.

Genul acela de rom spirtos și ieftin. Mai bine aleg un scotch de alimentară că e aceeași treabă și nici nu dau atâția bani. Am dat nota 4 mai mult pentru ambalaj.

Definitely not a nice rum.it does come in a nice bottle though.

Quite harsh, no aftertaste, maybe good with some coke.

The rum aged in red wind barrels doesn't taste bad. But it's odd...and in the end it's a combination that is fun to taste but it's not suitable to sip the entire nicht.

After first tíme tasting I was like: No more!
But second tíme when it was a bit opened I changed my decision, But still - this isnt my style

It is just to much.. strange Taste on the sweet side, but can't put my finger on it...
Lukily i had a small tasting example and not a whole bottle...

El Ron Prohibido 12-Year er bestemt ikke nogen stor rom. Duften er lidt som brændt karamel, i smagen er det igen karamel (dog ikke brændt) der sammen med vanilje er gennemtrængende.

Very different from what I'm used to. I get it why it got prohibited... There where so many better rum out there... Loss of barrels to age it :D

Really fucking bullshit taste! It's salty! And the aftertaste not exist.
