Malecon Reserva Imperial 18-Year

It has zero bite, tastes like it was washed up and left in the sun on the beach while still in the barrel. And then baby Groot had peat moss growing on him as a teenager and found the barrel and took a swim in the barrel and immediately called the locals over to come suck the rum out of his little makeshift jacuzzi to bottle it up

It tastes like something you would find in a dirty glass bottle under the sand that has to have been shared with people that had found it under the sand before you as well.

Nichts was ich mir kaufen würde, ist nicht das was ich an Rums mag.

This one is softer, more delicate than other Malecon offerings. Plenty of wood, hints of vanilla and chocolate. Nice sipper. Nice balance. Smooth finish.

An excellent tasting rum. Hints of dark chocolate but very subtle and cam be enjoyed on its own. Highly recommend!

A strong golden colour. A quite sweet and nice smell, caramel, some Port.
The taste is not so sweet, a little bit bitter, spicy. The finish is soft, slightly sweeter as the taste.

Im Geruch Birne, Holz und Alkohol.
Im Geschmack Ananas, Birne, Früchte, Kakao, Zuckerrohr, ein wenig Süße, Alkohol und Holznote, ein ganz klein wenig herb.
Im Abgang Kakao, Holznote, Alkohol und am Ende bleibt ein Geschmack von Ananas- Birne im Mund für lange Zeit.
Fazit:
Ein Rum mit einer leichten Süße. Kein brennender Rum, eher auf der milden Seite.
Ein wenig Atmen lassen. Dieser Rum erschließt sich erst
einem nach einer geraumen Zeit, man muss sich Zeit nehmen.
Langer Abgang, gefällt mir gut und wenn der Preis stimmt macht man hier absolut nichts falsch.

Einer meiner Favoriten, wird nachgekauft !

Sladší příjemný rum, v závěru lehce štiplavý. Chuť karamel,čokoláda. Vyšší procento alkoholu je cítit jen v závěru, ale velice příjemné a vyvážené.

Little bit sweeter than malecon 15. It's also a little bit better, not that spicy with same aromas.

Salon du Rhum Spa 2018 - très bon, mieux que le 13 ans, 71€

Nose: not very engaging, only weak dusty pear. Some white sugar.
Taste: Soft and gentle but not much power. Neither sweet, nor dry. No fruits. For me, characteristics are missing. Some hints of cork, wood and slightly bitter.
