Ikke den bedste i skabet. Men okay. Er lidt stærk i smagen.
You can find far better Domincans.I recognized its origin at a blind tasting but i know like 5 other Domincans which give u more in this price-class. It simply lacks depth and the finish is watery
This rum is a very decent sipping rum and it also fares well in drinks.
It is not the sweetest of rums but it has a round and smooth finish.
I would recommend som finnish liquiroce to accompany the rum.
Fairly hard to find. The flavors are weak, and could benefit from some sweetness. Mor oak than I like to have in a rum.
Great rum. A dry and less sweet dark rum that resembles a Scotch. It is also a bit dry. One of my favorites. I do find it a bit pricy but worth it. This one I only share with special guests.
This 100 anniversary edition is good, and not as dry as most of their range.
Mon premier "vrai rum straight!
Un super goût complexe avec des touches de crème brulé, bananes et de noix, quand même assez sec mais délicieux!
Ne pas abuser peux être traitre après la première bouteille!!
Chocolate, spice, fruity nose, Caramel, toffee, smoky oak on the palate....
Love this Rum it is great 1st had it in the Dominican
This one is really different and interesting. A short immediate flavor with a long leather Leather LEATHER taste. A very good one, not many other flavors involved, perhaps a lot of wood.... and seconds. An excellent alternative.
The best I found in our trip to dr...dryer, meatier, mature, complex...no extra sugar, a fine tipple
Agree that this is dry, smooth and complex. It struck me as mildly woody with a very slight smoky flavor.
Es un ron sabroso pero inclusive parece que lo hubieran aguado, no es un premium
Grei og balansert, som forventet til prisen men ikke noen opplevelse ala Diplomatico,Ron Millionario etc til samme prisen
Smooth solid flavor. not overly sweet rum that i found to have a caramel esqe finish
Although my bottle was corked there were still notes that showed impressive complexity and depth. But unfortunately the corkiness (the only time that I have found with a spirit) completely ruined things. I really should buy another bottle, but.....
At first it seems quite good. But the taste doesn't last very long nor is it very complex. But if you are looking to serve decent cocktails, the Brugal 1888 will do the job just fine.
Great nose. Light color.
This rum seams to be a great divider of opinion due to the very dry taste. I like it. (The lowest score seems to have voted twice which has pulled down the average)
Caramel, sherry and a very, very light spice.
Very balanced flavor from start to finish.
By far, Brugal's best rum. Very high quality reserve for a high yielding producer. Deep bananna, oak, and cherry flavors. A little abraisive on the tounge at first. I prefer it on the rocks, but can be straight up. Bordrline very dry.
This a very good complex dry rum, with no added sugar and so none of the sweet doctored-up taste of so many of the "Z" rums (Zaya, Zacapa, Zafra). This is what rum should taste like - woody, smoky, leathery. A little on the pricey side and not one I would drink every day, but a nice bottle to own if you like that flavor profile.
Amber color, vanilla, creme brûlée, light spice. Opened up with 1 ice cube
