New to Site.... No Expert
Decent Price $$$
Great Rum my go too. Especially cutt with Coke Zero. I’m no expert but this is spot on. Double large shot in wine goblet with Coke Zero as a filler. Extra ice. Can’t go wrong.
Little dry rum, first taste little not so sweet, nose neutral.
Its been over a year since I initially tried this rum and after reading reviews here, I couldn't reconcile my assessment....so I bought another bottle.....I must have gotten a bum bottle initially or QC issues.....I very much enjoyed this....perfect taste, no burn....what more can you ask for in a Cuban-Dominican rum....I have revised my rating from 6 to 8.
Very balanced rum and fine sipping, adding pleasant aromas, not too high, not low on the nose, but also having great ones on the taste: caramel, cocoa, cinnamon and liquorice, dark chocolate and some cigar and lots of spice along with the interminable finish. On of the best tasted so far.
I like this rum. I can taste the sherry. The nose has some candy and cake. A little bit of yeast on the finish.
Lovely rum, not too sharp but not too mellow either. Love the touch on the palet vailla, butterscotch, citrus. Amazing rum, straight up, and a decent price.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Bitter disappointment

Relatively good on the nose. Lots of oak, maybe honey, some cocoa, with hints of cinnamon and little bit nuts, but smell of young alcohol also.
Taste is heavyer and unbalanced, is known, that is a solera made from rums of different age, it is
a chaotic tangle of woodiness and sharp alcohol, with unpleasantly bitter finish (not tannins).
Due to the price, bad rum.
