Smooth and complex. Sweet and complex. Great for splurge night or gift for someone who has everything.

Nice presentation box. The rum in the glass shows really slow thick legs. It has a nice balance in smell of vanilla and oak. Minimum after burn, the after taste of this rum just goes on for ages. It has you smacking your lips together thinking about the complexity of flavours you just had from this rum.

Bam! The best I've ever had! $600 a bottle is well worth the ride.

Celebrate with the best.

Completo, complejo, sabroso, una delicia desde el principio hasta el final.
Lastima el precio y la disponibilidad, compraria a centenas.

I ordered a bottle of this after enjoying the Don Pancho 18 year and WOW. This is the best tasting rum I've ever had. It goes down smooth like silk with no burn, with a vibrant, warm aftertaste that coats your mouth. It is like drinking liquid happines and I have never experied this kind of flavor and taste with other rums, only Don Pancho. Everyone should try this rum at least once in their lifetime. The bottles are expensive as hell so it is hard to justify over $400 to get one, but if you are looking to taste the peak of rum, this is something to buy and cherish for special occasions. Otherwise, The Don Pancho 18 is still the best age statement for price and value, with similar notes but less elegance.

30 years old to age a rum and bring back to 40% seems insane, but regardless of the proof here are my thoughts. Itโ€™s New Years morning 2022, Iโ€™ve been drinking DP 18 all evening. Decided to open my long waited 30 and itโ€™s excellent. Nose very smooth not much going on, first sip mildly smooth slightly sweet with a long tail. Lots of depth. I think I will rate again tomorrow on a fresh pallet side by side Zafra 30 from same distillery.

First thought at 2:22 New Years morning 9-10.not sure itโ€™s worth the premium price.

Fantastic says it all! Off the hook from nose to the loooooong finish. Very tasty well balanced, just what you would expect from a rum of this caliber. Gonna run you $400/bottle but hey what the heck its great.

Tested neat in chilled glass. 80 proof
Very smooth, woody oak aroma, buttery dark aged finish. Tested the 18 YO two days ago, and this is surprisingly similar. Both are outstanding, but the difference between the 18YO and 30YO is very subtle, probably not enough to justify the 30YO price...$430 bottle including tax, or $17.20 oz. Beautiful flavor linger, and let's you know you've tasted something very special. This is kept in the Rare and Old section of the liquor store under lock and key and comes in a very handsome presentation box. Give this a try and taste for yourself...
