Dark chocolate, coffee, dried raisins, and a slightly toasted and bitter background which hints at herbal notes.

This rum nation from Guyana is done in the solera method. Huge dried fruits and cocoa (?) in the nose. Deeper earthy notes on the palette. Best as a sipper or in a rum old fashioned.

Lovely brown/red in the glass.
Nice aroma, caramel, brown sugar, oak, maybe some tobacco.
Sift sipper. Again, the caramel, slightly oaky. Mild bite at the end. Taste fades away rather quickly.
Nice glass of rum.

Oh Lord thank you for this great Demerara rum. I really loved this one. The first sip I took was meeting with some sweet caramel taste. I let it rest for a while and got some citrus, more caramel and definitely some oak. I find it better than the El Dorado 12 and to my opinion it is well worth comparing with the El Dorado 15 and even better because the oak isn't as dominant as the El Dorado 15. It works very well with some chocolate. Tasty!!!
Great Rum!! Give it a try is my recommendation!!

Very good and complex rum. On the nose you can feel vanilla, caramel, sherry and oak. Taste is very smooth with flavours of vanilla, spice, smoke, oak and chocolate.

Initial aroma is one of caramel and butterscotch. .
"It has sufficient oak and spice to reveal some ageing but the spiciness has a hit of younger alcohol."

A typical Demerara rum. Has a strong aroma of caramel, but it's definitely more than simply caramel, you can find different layers during sipping.
